Claremont Fan Court School, Claremont Drive, Esher, Surrey KT10 9LY
Claremont Fan Court School has been a home to Camp Beaumont since its 1986. The Claremont Mansion, a former home of Queen Victoria, lies in the centre of the grounds offering splendid views in all directions. The spacious grounds of Claremont's 90 acre estate offer fantastic parkland setting for our summer camp adventures.
Currently due to social distancing guidance and COVID-safe protocols, our extras are temporarily not available. When we are able to provide our much-loved add-ons, the following will be available:
Please note that for Easter Camps, access to the school can only be made via Claremont Drive and not the usual Portsmouth Road entrance, due to work taking place at the school.
Also, there is a change of sign-in and sign-out location at Claremont Fan Court School:
When you and drive through the entrance at Claremont Drive, you will need to now follow the one-way system around the school. Follow the road down to the nursery building. This same road then loops around past the mansion house and heads back down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, if driving, you will find a small car park, our sign-in and sign-out desk will be situated close-by. As there will be a number of parents using this car park, we hugely appreciate a super swift drop-off and collection. A member of our team will be at the car park to help the flow of traffic.
Please find a map below. We'll also add signage to help direct you to our reception area.
By car: The school’s Claremont Drive entrance is accessible from the traffic lights on the A244 at the junction with Claremont Lane/Copsem Lane/Milbourne Lane. Once on Claremont Drive, continue straight ahead until you reach the school entrance. The gates are usually shut and you will need to ring the buzzer to gain access.
By train: Claygate is the nearest mainline railway station and is on the K3 bus route and the school minibus route. For train timetables see National Rail.
By bus: The K3 bus from Kingston stops at the end of Claremont Drive. Please see the Transport for London (TFL) website for more details.
