Training

To ensure our great teams are well trained, we have designed a bespoke training programme combining face to face training with with e-learning and on the job training. We’ll support you in developing your skills to be the best you can be on camp.

Some training is compulsory, which ensures our campers are as safe possible, plus there’s plenty of additional training to help you test and stretch yourself, learning lots of new things with Camp Beaumont.

E-Learning Modules

Camp Beaumont has a fantastic e-learning platform called ‘Flow’. You will receive log in details to this as part of your on-boarding and you will be able to complete your e-learning modules on the Flow app. The compulsory modules you’ll have to complete will depend on the area you’re working in:

Staff Teams

Our staff teams are required to do three e-learning modules prior to working with us, these are really important to ensure you are fully prepared for camp:

  • Health & Safety
  • Prevent & British Values

Management Teams

Our management teams are required to do the four e-learning modules prior to working with us, these are really important to ensure you are fully prepared for camp.

Operations Teams

Our operations teams are required to do the six e-learning modules prior to working with us, these are really important to ensure you are fully prepared for camp.

  • Driver Awareness

Face to Face Training

It is vital that you feel confident in delivering exceptional camp experiences to the thousands of children we look after. To do that, we offer specialist face to face training sessions.

Staff Teams

Our staff teams are required to do a one day training session which will cover off how to organise and run the sessions, how to be an incredible member of staff and specialist training that your role needs.

Management Teams

Our management teams have a more intensive training programme, this consists of a day’s training prior to all half terms and Christmas. We will invite all managers on every one of these and it is great for you to attend if you can. All of our managers are required to attend a two day residential training session either prior to Easter or prior to the summer.

If you have never worked in a management role then you will need to attend training before you can work.

Operations Teams

Our operations teams will receive a day’s training and induction at our Operations HQ in Dagenham, Essex. You will be familiarised with our warehouse, processes and vehicles.

Other Training

Some roles require additional qualifications, we run in house courses in the following:

  • Paediatric First Aid (E-Learning & 1 Day)
  • Archery GB (2 Days)
  • EASI - Quad Biking (1 Day)
