If you’re a regular Ray Mears, or fancy yourself as the next Bear Grylls, Peak Venture is the camp for you! Right on the doorstep of the fantastic Peak District National Park, this is the heart of outdoor adventure country.

Peak Venture is the only camp to offer our specialised outdoor pursuits programme - this is the real deal! As well as all the fantastic adventure activities at camp like 3G Swing, Jacob’s Ladder & Zipwire, we also take you out to get up close & personal with the local landscapes and make the most of the outdoors!

Not only great days, we also have our outdoors themed evening special event, “Camp Out” where you can roast marshmallows and tell stories around the camp fire before sleeping under the stars in tents.

Great for many ages, Peak Venture is hosting “Teen Weeks” and “Juniors Weeks” in summer 2010.

Teen Weeks
Age 12-16 17/7, 24/7, 31/7, 7/8

We take you out to develop your Climbing and Abseiling skills on real rock faces, explore the world of wintersports with Dry-Slope Skiing lessons, walk the Peaks Hill Trekking and get wet and wild with Gorge Walking. Splash on our watersports lake with Raft Building, Open Canoeing or Kayaking.

Junior Weeks
Age 7-11 14/8, 21/8

Our outdoor pursuits are tailored for younger children aged 7-11, an introduction to the full on outdoors adventure. Includes watersports like Raft Building, Open Canoeing and Kayaking, Dry Slope Ski lessons and Gorge Walking.
