Group Leader

Group Leaders have the responsibility for the welfare of a group of children, both during and outside their activity sessions and excursions.

Initiating and instructing games and activities play a large part in a Group Leaders day, along with equipment preparation and ensuring the welfare needs of children are met.

Whilst a group of up to 15 campers take part in adventurous activities such as climbing, watersports and quad biking, their Group Leader will be responsible for their supervision and the entertainment of anyone in the group that is not participating.

Group leaders are a point of contact for campers throughout the day, and overnight when undertaking a night duty.

The Group Leader role also involves being responsible for ensuring that the company’s Health & Safety policy is adhered to and that good standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.

Group Leaders are also required to assist with the transport of campers to and from camp when they arrive and depart. This will involve accompanying campers to and from airports and train stations around the country.

We will provide full training but are ideally looking for people who have experience of a responsible role and/or working with children.
