Option 1
Escorted travel
If you would like to drop your child at one of our pre-booked pick up points where they will join one of our coach routes, then you can choose “Escorted Travel”.
We offer an excellent escorted travel service from major towns and cities across the UK; this is a service that can be arranged at the time of booking. It is strongly recommended
that you do this no longer than 3 weeks prior to your child’s holiday. Camp Beaumont Transport Team members will be there to greet you and your child, with CB signage,
wearing bright CB T-shirts and a welcoming smile. Once signed in as part of our safety precautions, your child can start to make friends straight away on the coach back to
camp, accompanied by the Transport Team. At the end of the holiday they also escort campers back to their drop-off points, where they are signed out. In the event of a hitch in
travel arrangements, no child is ever left unattended for whatever reason. Our pick up points are either at the main rail station, at the ticket office, or at motorway service stations, by the front main entrance. We do request that campers are at the pick-up point 20 minutes before scheduled pick-up time to ensure the smooth running of the service. The coach waits 20 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time for campers. If you think you may be running late, please call and let us know.
Option 2
Unescorted Travel
Or, if you feel your child is old enough to travel from home to a local pick up point close to camp, usually the nearest train station to camp, then you can choose “Unescorted Travel” and provide your child with a rail ticket to get them to the pick up point.
If you consider your child old enough to travel unescorted, we offer a pick-up and return service from stations and terminals nearest to our camps. This is particularly popular with guests travelling to The Island and The House! camps. Our staff will be able to meet arrivals at each station between the hours of 16:30-17:30 (The Island 15:00-17:00).
