Getting to Camp!
Whilst you are most welcome to take your children to Camp, many parents take advantage of our transport service that saves time and fuel and also allows campers to make friends straight away. We have convenient pick-up points throughout the UK for coach transfers as well as at local rail stations or hover terminals close to our camps. All are manned by Camp Beaumont staff that remain with your child until they arrive at camp. All you have to do is decide between the escorted or unescorted options!
What about escorted travel?
We offer an excellent escorted travel service from major towns and cities across the UK; this is a service that can be arranged at the time of booking. It is strongly recommended that you do this no less than 3 weeks prior to your child's holiday. To reserve a place, simply fill in a preferred pick-up point on the booking form. Please bear in mind that all meeting times are approximate. During the height of summer, heavy traffic often delays our fleet of coaches. We are regularly in touch with the fleet by mobile phone and they can let us know at once if there have been any delays. We can sometimes arrange one way escorted travel. The cost of single journeys by coach is 70% of the return price.
Please arrive at pick up points at least 15 minutes prior to departure. We suggest that you give your child a packed snack & drink for the journey. Camp Beaumont leaders travel with the children during the journey. At the end of the holiday they also escort campers back to their drop-off points. All campers are signed in and out as part of our safety precautions. In the event of a hitch in travel arrangements, no child is ever left unattended for whatever reason.
Eurostar Escorted Travel
We offer a safe, supervised escorted transfer service for campers who come from France. Camp Beaumont representatives will be at Paris Gare Du Nord every Saturday morning to personally escort your child direct to camp. All children are similarly escorted returning back to Paris Gare Du Nord Saturday early evening. For more information and to make a booking please call our Camp Counsellors.

What if my child is travelling by plane?
We have an escorted transfer service for our campers who come from abroad to main UK airports, as well as the Eurostar terminal in London. We always send a member of staff to meet youngsters in person. Flight details must be notified to our Camp Counsellors in writing at least two weeks before arrival. Flights should arrive between 0700 & 1500 hours (local time) on Saturdays and leave between 1000 hours and 1800 hours to fit in with our transport schedules.
While we do everything possible to accommodate flight times, sometimes a supplement may be charged if a child has to be accompanied individually. Our Group Leaders will be waiting for your child directly when they come out of the customs hall into the arrivals area. They are easy to spot wearing Camp Beaumont uniforms and a welcoming smile. To help us identify your child please ensure they wear their Camp Beaumont badge. Please also put Camp Beaumont labels on all luggage.
What if a flight is delayed?
Our staff in the field are in contact with our office by mobile phone and can deal with any delays. All you need to do is call our Camp Counsellors on Saturdays between 9am and 6pm. Children are never left unattended at airports, railway stations or public places and we always wait at the gate until a plane departs. If there is any delay or problems with a departure we will contact you on the numbers provided. Please ensure that we have your own holiday contact details should you be away at the same time as your child.
