More than Fun & Friendship
Camp Beaumont is a unique experience which will continue to benefit your child personally and socially for years to come.
One of the main missions of a good camp programme is to boost your child’s self-esteem for themselves and for others. Children learn to interact with other campers 24 hours a day making lots
of new friends and building relationships with others that they could not do in a school setting. Challenging their own boundaries and getting to the top of the climbing wall when afraid of heights, or simply being away from home for the first time increases the confidence of young people no end and parents often cite this
as the largest difference they notice in their child on return from camp.
Our adventure activities encourage
children to take healthy risks and use
their initiative, discovering their inherent talents and being rewarded for their successes. Camp is a great place for
the building and development of life skills, such as independence, interdependence, tolerance, responsibility and loyalty -
these skills will give them a definite advantage over their peers as they grow into adulthood. Children meet and make friends from all over the world creating a wonderful exchange of ideas and culture, returning from camp with an armful of
new email addresses.
