How to contact your child?
You can contact your child during any day of their stay by booking calls with the camp office. Campers can bring mobile phones with them which will be looked after for safekeeping in security boxes in the camp office and given to the children to receive calls from home during specific times*. Every camp has telephones, fax machines and email facilities. We have found that it is often better not to have too much contact with home until after the first couple of days, as this can be a stressful time before campers have really settled in and made new friends. Usually after this time the amount of fun they are having dispels any concerns - it is very rare for children not to settle in.
* Mobile phones are not held for safekeeping at The House! so we do recommend that these items are fully insured under their own policy.
