Early Years Coordinator

Early Years Coordinators have the overall responsibility for the welfare of the early year’s age group ‘Playtime’, they have a small team of staff to deliver outstanding activities to the children in line with the EYFS and manage the children outside activity times. This role is a parent facing role as the Early Years Coordinator will sign the children in and out each day.

Early Years Manager

The Early Years Manager is responsible for assisting the Camp Manager in delivering an outstanding early year’s programme to the 3, 4 and 5 year olds in our care. Part of this role will to be ensure that where appropriate we take from the Early Years programme and apply to our under 8 programme.

Group Leader

Group Leaders have the responsibility for the welfare of a particular age group of children both during and outside activity times. The main role is to deliver the large majority of activities to their group of children under the direction of the Head Group Leaders.

Transport Group Leader

Transport Group Leaders along with the responsibility for the welfare of a particular age group of children, are also responsible for manning the transport bus to and from camp. Other than this the main role is to deliver the large majority of activities to their group of children under the direction of the Head Group Leaders.

Activity Instructor (Sport, Creative or Outdoors)

As an Activity Instructor you will be the specialist within your activities, you will be responsible for delivering the Action Extra programme for your activities. There are three different activity instructors: Sport – Football, Tennis & Archery; Creative – Starmaker, Arts & Crafts & Baking; Outdoors – Survival Academy, Quad Biking & Science. Outside of these activities the instructors will support the rest of the camp where required.

Swimming Teacher

As a Swimming Teacher you will be the specialist onsite conducting the Learn to Swim sessions. Outside of these sessions the Swim Teachers will support the rest of the camp where required.

Lifeguard

As a Lifeguard you will be responsible for the safety of all children and staff using the swimming pool. You will need to enforce the swimming pool code of conduct rigorously to ensure safe swim sessions. You may only be required for a few hours per day although you may be asked to support the rest of the camp if required.

EFL Teacher

As a EFL Teacher you will be responsible for delivering English as a foreign language sessions to those children who are booked on to this course by their parents. The children are predominately international and these sessions only operate in the summer holiday period. You may only be required for a few hours per day although you may be asked to support the rest of the camp if required and/or asked to deliver these sessions across two camps local to each other.
