Since their launch in 1989, Childcare Vouchers have proved to be the most popular form of childcare assistance that a UK employer can provide. With well over one-third of Britain’s workforce now comprising of parents with dependent children, childcare provision has become a significant issue. As a result the government has introduced one of Europe’s most favourable tax and National Insurance exemptions for Childcare Vouchers. Vouchers can be used at all registered nurseries, childminders, nannies, au pairs and out of school clubs, which is where Camp Beaumont comes in.
How Childcare Vouchers work
If you company has affiliated with a voucher scheme you can choose to sacrifice an amount of your salary up to £243 per month which is exempt from tax and National Insurance Contributions (NIC) to be paid in Childcare Vouchers. You can use them to pay for your Camp Beaumont Activity Camps. Vouchers are either electronic or paper and are treated just like a cheque payment and we deal direct with the voucher provider to redeem the value of the voucher.
