Camp Beaumont is proud to be the leading day camp operator in London and the Home Counties and are in our 30th Year of operation. We therefore strive to recruit and train the very best staff. Our Selection Process is designed to find the most outstanding people for our Summer and Easter camps.
If your application form has been successful you will receive a telephone call to inform you that you are passing on to the next stage of the selection process and you will be allocated a time for a telephone interview.
All successful Head Group Leader and Head Nursery Leader applicants will also be required to have a face-to-face interview with a Senior Member of our Recruitment Team in our London Office.
In order to prepare for all stages of the interview process, we ask that you have a look through our website to have a good understanding of the position you have applied for and the values and expectations of a Camp Beaumont employee.
If your interview is successful you will be invited to an assessment day, these will be taking place throughout the year.
There are selected Assessment dates in both North and South London from February to July 2011 (approx one per month). Attendance at ONE of our assessment days is compulsory in order for you to gain employment with Camp Beaumont. If you wish to work during our Easter Camps you MUST attend an Assessment in February or March 2011
Following a successful assessment during the morning, you will be asked to remain for the afternoon and attend an Intensive Training Session. This will include filling out a CRB form so you will be required to bring 3 forms of ID with you to the assessment day.
If you have applied for one of our Management Positions (Kiddy Karts Co-ordinator, Climbing Wall Co-ordinator, Senior Group Leader, Assistant Camp Director, Senior Nursery Leader, Camp Director) your selection process is more intense. You will have an initial telephone interview, followed by a face to face interview at our office in London with the Managing Director and Operations Manager. If successful, you will be selected to attend a compulsory Management Assessment weekend. During this weekend, you will be informed if you have gained a position with us, what your position is and at what camp you have been placed. You will then be invited to the compulsory Management Training weekend. This will provide you will all the tools to run a successful Camp.
