For ages 10-15

Learn from the best as specialist instructors offer expert motorsports coaching, including quad and go-kart handling, basic engine maintenance and designing and building a track. There’s also a junkyard vehicle-making challenge (using materials in the camp junkyard) to test out those newly learned skills. Campers staying at The Island will take a truly memorable excursion to a nearby speedway track and, on the last day, take part in a Quad Safari. Campers at Pinewood Sands will experience all the excitement of a Stock car racing track.

THE ACTIVITIES

While Motorsports campers will spend their mornings racing around on four wheels, there’s also ample opportunity for them to get back on their feet (or up in the air) as they join everyone else and fill the remainder of their time sampling the other adventure activities on the multi-activity programme available at camp that week.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Long sleeves and trousers (preferably jeans or thick trousers) are required in order to take part in all motorsports. All other equipment and specialist clothing is provided by the centre and included in the price.
